What is Odin Mode?

Samsung Odin Mode, best known as Download Mode, is a screen that you can see when you click the Volume, Power and Home buttons together on your Samsung computer. The Samsung Odin Mode screen gives you two options, namely "Continue" by pressing the button for volume up and "Cancel" by pressing the button for volume down. Another way to understand the Samsung Odin mode is to display a triangle with an Android symbol on the screen and a "Download" message.

You can exit the Samsung Odin Mode and your device will restart if you tap Cancel by pressing the Volume Down key. If you proceed, you will be directed to flash your computer or a new firmware will be introduced.

However, you are said to be experiencing what is called an Odin fail problem when you press the volume down button but are unable to exit the Samsung Odin Mode. Your phone will not restart and will remain trapped on the Samsung Odin Mode screen in this case. Just in case you press the volume up key and move on to flashing a new ROM / firmware, by following a few simple steps outlined in the following section, you can get out of the Samsung Odin Mode.

How to exit Odin Mode?

Exiting the Samsung Odin Mode is an fast and quick process. Three different ways to do this are available. Let's take a look at these techniques given below.

1. Firstly, as explained above, press the volume down key on the main Samsung Odin Mode screen to cancel the downloading process and order your computer to reboot.

2, Secondly, if you are experiencing a failure of Odin, press and hold down the volume key and power button together and wait a few minutes before rebooting your phone itself.

3. Thirdly, remove the battery from your computer, if necessary. Wait a minute or two and then reinstall the battery and attempt to turn the computer on.

However, if these methods do not help you get out of the Samsung Odin Mode and Odin error error persists, you are advised to try the methods given in the other sections of this article, before you do that, it is necessary to take a complete backup of your data, media and other files stored in your Samsung device because any changes to the firmware can be made while fixing the problem.
